All three categories a 5... there is a world beyond Barbasol Gillette and Edge mass marketed/ foam/ alcohol laden shaving products. Big props GL.

Bringing these products together as one makes for a great shave. The kit lasts a while too, and the travel size kit is great too.

This is a great place to start if you are just stepping past cheap shaving gel or foam and bar soap for your face. Not to say it isn't a good lineup of products, but trying to pick between all the other options can be challenging! Each of these products is reasonably good, and at least better than anything mass-market products I've used in the past. I still want to venture into other things but for now this is a great starting point. And the discount for getting four things at once is awesome too! (and you can keep it up with the mix-and-match sets sold elsewhere on this site for GL products). If you are in a pinch and undecided, at least try the travel-size kit and give this stuff a chance!

4 star in quality only because I have nothing to gauge these things off of besides the old grocery-store products. Otherwise would be straight 5s!

Being in the military, I shave every day. This kit keeps my face smooth and crisp, with no nicks, cuts or rough spots. I would recommend it to anyone, whether you shave daily or only every once in a while.

I bought this kit along with a merkur safety razor, and all i can say is wow. Between the shave oil and the beard destroyer cream it is almost impossible to knick yourself. Follow the process and you will be rewarded with the perfect shave every time!

I have given and received this kit as a gift and myself and the gift recipients always enjoy using these GL products. If you use each of the products in this kit in the way they were created to be used, you really will have the best shave ever. Actually, the best shave ever is going to the GL store and getting a shave there while they use these products, but this is the next best thing!

I was so glad to see GL come out with these travel sized version of their Greatest Shave Ever kit. Love all of these products and it is super nice not having to squeeze their products into the small disposable travel size containers.

This four in one package is amazing. Before I used this product; I used Gillette and other products, but i will still get rough areas on some parts of my beard (especially the neck area). After using the Grooming Lounge shave kit, my beard is smoother and it feels great. I highly recommend this product for any man who shaves his beard.

Great kit, it has everything you need. My beard has never looked better. Also it feels very clean and smooth. It's never felt like this. Oil is nice, very musky smelling. The face wash feels nice, didn't dry out my face like most other cleansers. The shave cream and after shave really don't seem that special individually, but they give you a great shave. For example, when you slather on a bunch of your typical Nivea after shave you get this cooling great sensation. The GL products don't give you that, but they work 10x better. 70 bucks is a big leap for shaving creams, but I recommend giving this product a try before you fall too deep into the rabbit hole and start experimenting with other more designer brands.

When I was a kid I fell and cut an area of my chin open and needed stitches. To this day it wasn't super comfortable when shaving over that area. I'm not sure what part of this kit did the trick, but between the pre shave oil and the shaving cream the razor glided smoothly over the area without issue. That is the whole reason I tried this kit, so I'm happy. Using the cream will be something to get used to however as I am used to more of a lather getting worked up. This didn't produce one at all, but clearly one isn't necessary since this worked just fine.

Buy this kit if you are sick of all the Walmart creams, soaps, aftershaves, etc. I promise you won't be disappointed! Don't even buy the $25 "try me" kit just buy the $71 dollar kit! Love every product in the kit and you will too!

I got this kit thinking I would get a nice shave, I bought a safety razor as well. I love it! no nicks and a very clean shave. Looks as if im hooked on the products.

Had the shave at the GL barbershop and this stuff lets me do it as well at home. Really, really good stuff. Get a shave from Janelle there.

Bought the kit after having used several high end creams and aftershaves for years. The oil is a game-changer. The face wash has a nice scent though not too much. The cream has a consistency that I haven't seen before. It is somewhat difficult to spread with a brush, but is perfect cocktail'd with the oil as mentioned. This is the first time in quite a while that an aftershave has really soothed my face. Very pleased all in all. Will be buying the travel kit shortly. Cheers!

I have to shave every day. I have used all the "Best" shave lotions, creams, and gels on the market and still had a problem with irritation and razor burn, but after getting this shaving kit I no longer suffer from the embarassing bumps and the uncomfortable burn. This is by far the best shaving kit I have ever used. I would highly reccomend this product to anyone!

I'm in the military so shaving daily is a must. I've used cheap shaving creams for a long time and after trying this stuff I won't be buying anymore Gillette! If shaving is a daily routine for you, give this a try.

When I say these four products are incomparable, I mean that there is no other products that can do the job better than GL's "Greatest Shave Ever Kit". I've tried many super market products, pre-shave solutions, and shaving creams such as Taylor of Old Bonde. I honestly thought I was getting a good shave, until I tried the GL Kit. For $25 give the sample kit a try. It's been almost two months and I still have plenty left. I'm ordering the bigger kit today!

I am particularly disappointed in the Shave Cream and After Shave. The Face Wash Shave Oil are good products. As a regular user of nicer men's grooming products, and of the Grooming Lounge, I expected a lot more from these 2 products. The Shave Cream refuses to spread on my face (even with a badger-hair Shaving Brush), whereas my Proraso shaving cream does so beautifully. I've tried it 3 times and given up on the product. Dud. As for the After Shave, it is of a good consistency but my skin seems to soak it in immediately and want more. I haven't run into this issue with other products so I can only assume it's specific to Grooming Lounge's After Shave cream. Ultimately, this has sullied my perspective on Grooming Lounge products, but the services and other products available through their website/store are still tops in my mind.

This stuff is aces, highly recommend!

Gentlemen, I've used all of the top-shelf shaving creams, soaps, gels, etc. This is by far the best. The oil combined with the cream makes shaving easy, and makes my face looking great.

I've had the shave in the Tyson's store and it is by far the best thing I've ever done for myself. Using the shave products was a no-brainer after that and I refuse to use anything but; stopping at the store for it when I need it and going a month or more scaring small children rather than shaving with anything else.

I love all the GL products and to get this and save a bunch of money was a no-brainer for me. The shave cream doesn't foam, but they say that doesn't effect the results, which is true in the end.

I received this as a gift and can't say enough good things about the Grooming Lounge Products. The 4 products were all worth it.
