Great pack for trying different options.
The GL Super Powder is the pick of the pack. Pleasant mild citrus scent. Keeps skin dry. Reduces friction. Does not irrate my skin. Balla Powder has a stronger citrus scent. However, it does not keep skin dry as long as the GL Super Powder. Nor, does Balla reduce friction like GL Super Powder. My skin is slightly sensative to it. The Dry + Goods Athletic Spray Powder (D+G) has a slight peppermint talc scent that gives a mild short term cooling affect. D+G only seemed to mask body odor for four or five hours. It prevented friction all day, but was not very effective in keeping my skin dry below the belt. D+G did not irritate my skin.
The Meat Loaf reference aside, these three products in the Basic Kit (Balla, Dry Goods, and Super Powder are all good quality. I LOVE Super Powder and have used it before this kit, but I wanted to try Dry Goods based on a review from The Art of Manliness. Dry Goods delivers "the goods". It performs amazing well and it convenient at the gym because of the lack of mess. Balla Powder is a solid product, but Super Powder is better performing. I like the scent of Balla. Dry Goods doesn't have a scent, but that's not effect my opinion. This Basic Kit is a good start for this wanting to try some of these products. Well done with this offering, GL.
I split this with some buddies. We are all big guys who were looking for good powder. Excellent selection of brands and scents. Highly recommend if you are not sure what will work for you.
