Price Value Quality I have never used a pre-shave oil. Was introduced to it by an ex-girlfriend. Wow, have been using it ever since (2 girlfriends and a few one night stands later). It soaks in and softens the shave and but when used together with Task Essentials Shave Creme, wow and I have a perfect shave every time.

Price Value Quality I have experimented with many different types of oils, and this is one is definitely one of my favs! It's non-greasy and soaks in right away to soften bristles. You really don't need that much shave cream with this and there is not much need for aftershave as well. A must have!

Price Value Quality So far I have tried Anthony's, Dermalogica, Lab Series, Clarinsmen, Clinique, and L'occitane pre-shave oils and this one is my favorite so far. Not too heavy and not too light. It gives a great slip, does a great job of protecting against cuts and is the best so far for the last step of my shave routine when I reapply only an oil and go against the grain. Only rated a 4 since there are so many oils I have not tried yet. Next up will be GL Beardmaster, Molton Brown black pepper, Truefill and Hill and Ted Baker if the GL gets it back in stock.
