The Grooming Lounge At-Home-Facial
A good facial will improve your skin tone, cleanse clogged pours and get rid of the dreaded “dullness factor”. The first step is to find out your skin type and collect the right products needed for your luxury service. From there, find some private time and get ready to make yourself more handsome.
Time Needed: 10 Minutes
Items Needed: Sink Filled With Warm Water - Washcloth - Cotton Balls - Cleanser - Scrub or Exfoliator - Mask - Toner - Moisturizer - Eye Cream |
Step 1: Cleanse
Place dime-size amount of cleanser in hands and mix with a splash of water. Rub into face using circular motions, avoiding your eyes. Rinse with your washcloth and warm water.

Step 2: Exfoliate
Apply scrub to fingertips and rub into your face gently in circular motions. Drape warm, wet washcloth over face for 10-15 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with washcloth and warm water.

Step 3: Mask
Apply a mask to entire face and let sit for 3 minutes (perfect time for ESPN highlights). Use a clay mask for oily skin or a hydrating mask for dry. Remove with washcloth and warm water.

Step 4: Tone
Apply toner to cotton ball(s) with toner. Use small strokes over face to remove residue and close up pores.

Step 5: Moisturize
Place moisturizer in hands and apply to face using circular motions to penetrate the skin. Lastly, dab some eye cream around the contours of your eyes. |
The Grooming Lounge At Home Manicure & Pedicure
When giving yourself a hand or foot treatment (that’s what we call em’), it’s imperative to keep it simple. The following is an easy and quick system to keep your nails short and on point.
Time: Hands 10 Minutes/Feet 15 Minutes
Items Needed: Bowl Filled With Warm Water- File - Cuticle Stick (ask your girlfriend) - Clean Towel - Nail Kit - Hand & Foot Cream |
Step 1: Soak
Dip each hand in warm water until nails are soft (usually about 1 min).

Step 2: Clean
Clean beneath the nails with a clean metal file.

Step 3: Clip
Trim the nails with a clipper to leave a thin white strip at the end. Start in the middle of the nail then round off the sides.

Step 4: File
Smooth out your nails using a nail file or emery board. Just go one way…avoid the “sawing approach”.

Step 5: Push
Gently push back your cuticles (the white stuff around the edges of your nail) using a cuticle stick. Don’t cut them.

Step 6: Moisturize
Massage in some moisturizing cream until hands & feet feel soft and smooth.
