Price Value Quality I've had a goatee for years, and just started growing a full beard a little over a month ago. I've always wanted to try Bluebeards, but was always leary of spending that much money, especially for just a goatee. I showed Bluebeards to my wife after I started growing a full beard. Being the wonderful wife she is, she bought me a bottle for Christmas. This is now my favorite part of taking a shower. The first thing I should mention is the scent. It initially smells like Lemonheads candy! Once used, however, it seems to develop a more "refined" scent, so don't worry about smelling like movie theater candy all day. As this isn't a shampoo, it does not create huge amounts of lather. The lather that is created, however, is nice and thick, and penetrates all the way down to the skin. I use between a nickel-size and quarter-size dollop in my hand, and that is plenty for my shortish, thick beard. It rinses clean, and leaves my beard so soft and clean, with no dryness to be found. Although I would prefer to either pay less or get more product for the price, I have no problem spending more money to support a small American company that produces high quality products. Since my beard is somewhat short, I cannot say how this would work on a Santa beard, but for me, this stuff is perfect, and I will never use shampoo again.

Price Value Quality I have a big beard and this is a small bottle. It doesn't lather very well, I have to use alot. I will stick with washing my beard with Dr. Bronner's Magic Pure Castile Soap. It lathers like crazy. I also bought Bluebeards Original Beard Saver and that stuff is great. I will keep buying that.

Price Value Quality This product is money!! Before this I would use regular shampoo but stopped using it because of dryness and irritation. Glad I gave this product a shot. I'm a black man with a thick beard and this product works great.

Price Value Quality Beard Wash is essential if you have a soul patch like me or full-fledged grizzly adams look. It doesn't dry out my usually coarse facial hair, and it leaves it softer and easier to comb/clean. Nastiness no longer a given.
