Price Value Quality I certainly haven't tried them all but this is the best shave cream I have ever used. lathers up perfectly, provides a smooth, clean shave, has a wonderful smell, and washes away without oily residue. And it may seem expensive but it's very concentrated and you won't believe how little is required on your brush to give you a full lather. I like both the unscented and lavender varieties. A++!

Price Value Quality I have tried the walmart creams in the cans. I have tried several creams on the grooming lounge website. The one that works best for me is The Art of Shaving Ocean Kelp. I use this cream with a badger brush and it goes on nice and thick with a very pleasant smell, while leaving my skin smooth and cut free. I shave every other day and one tub of this will last me around two months. So don't be afraid of the price because it is very worth it. I also clean my face and use a double edged safey razor with this cream. Just try it and I will bet you will buy it again!!

Price Value Quality I have tried this cream along with multiple of there other scents. They all work great. They will work fairly well if only hand friction is used, they are fantastic if a shaving brush is used. Just have to add about a quarter size amount into the palm of your hand and work with a brush for a few seconds. You'll get a great lather, and a great shave.

Price Value Quality Art of Shaving is a little pricey, but if you have sensitive skin, this is a great product. I have tried many over the years, and Art of Shaving cream gives me a close shave without much irritation. For problem areas, add the preshave oil before lathering on the shave cream. The protection of the shaving cream also allows you to make various strokes in the different directions without needing to reapply. Most importantly, finish with a soothing after shave/moisturizer. I haven't found one in 7 years that rivals Zia's Dual Action Post Shave Moisturizer.

Price Value Quality The Sandalwood smells amazing - made for the manliest of men. The cream itself provides a very good lather when using a brush and bowl. Overall, you could do a lot worse. This is a solid shavings cream.

Price Value Quality I recently went through a series of tests on new shave gels and creams as my old standby became hard to find.
Background:
I use an electric shaver (A norelco cool touch) and my shaving regime starts with Lab series Electric shave solution.
Then I use a gel while I shave. I used each product I tested starting with 2 days of growth and then an every day shave.
After a shower I finish with Anthony Logistics Ingrown hair treatment.
After trying 5 other products, this was my final choice. About a dime or so on your mug is all you need. Wet your fingers and rub it in. It will dry, but once a wet razor hits it is gets your face nice and slick and the hairs just go away. All the niceties of a rich lather without a turning yourself into a huge soapy mess. It cleans up well and leaves you with a nice close shave feeling for a long time.
I Chose the Sandalwood, and it leaves a nice after scent even through a shower. In hindsight , I may go with unscented next time, but I will be buying this again and again.
