I have been using this razor for about 3 years now and not one problem. I have always had issues with skin sensitivity after shaving. I can't use electric razors, or the multi-blade razors without bad razor burn for a day or two. This razor solved that problem. I know that any safety razor works the same way, but the dial system on this is what drew me to it. Screw tention on a razor can only be duplicated if it is all the way tightened. With the numbered hash marks on this razor, you can reproduce proper tention every time once you find the blade angle that works for you.

I like this Merkur razor. It is my daily razor. I like the weight which feels well balanced in my hand. The adjustment is fine enough for me so I can get it just right in terms of angle without too much work on my side and the look is nice as well. A good buy.

I really enjoy shaving with this double edge. It is stylish and a good weight. Some can be super light, which just feels odd in your hand. Really like how easy it is to unclog the blade from shaving cream and facial hair. Just a little hot water and the vents on the bottom allow it all to just slide away. A little pricey, but will last as long as you take care of it.

I have been using this razor for about four years and it is great, feels good in my hand, cleans easy and blade change is simple. It does take some time getting used to a double edge razor but once you do you will be glad to have switched. Best part is the cost of bldes.

I am in the military and have thick facail hair. That being said, it is important for me to have a nice, clean shaved face 5-6 days out of the week. After reading the reviews on safety razors I decided to put the multi-razor heads aside and purchased this kit for myself. At first I wasn\'t too pleased with it until I finally learned how to use it properly. Now that I have gotten the hang of it, and not finishing with cuts here and there, I think its awesome. Its the closest shave I\'ve ever had and doesn\'t leave razor burn like the fuzion that I was using previously. The kit may seem a little pricey, but considering that you can purchase a hundred double edge blades for around 10 dollars really helps eliminate the chance of buyers remorse. Especially when it costs 10-14 dollars for a set of 3 replacement fuzion heads that only last about a week and a half per. I do suggest Googling how to shave w/ a safety razor to spare yourself and your skin the torture I went through in the beginning, lol.

I am kind of a shave obsessed guy but i have to say this model is the best. Looks amazing, gives you the comfort of adjusting how much the blade touches your skin and overall is just an amazing DE tool. Price is expensive but this is high-quality stuff and well worth it and it does come with a DE platinum-edged blade, which gives you like 10-15 shaves off the bat.
