I got this as a sample for some other GL order. When I first applied I was a little disappointed as there was no lather. I was used to Shaving Foam and this was more like an ointment. But then when I started shaving I felt the difference immediately. The toughest beard under the neck was easily gone in 2 strokes. I finished shaving quickly and this was the closest shave I had in a long time.

I immediately ordered this from GL. This was my first Jack Black product and I am impressed. Looking for more products to order from Jack Black.

This stuff is amazing. It works nearly as well as GL's "Best Shave Ever" kit. You get a good amount for your money and it will last you quite a while. A dime-sized drop is more than enough to shave my whole face & neck with 2 weeks of growth. This is my new go-to shave goo.

The "all-in-one" concept is great for the shower shave...best non-traditional shaving product I've used. Not the best for my coarse beard though.

I've been using this product for a few months now and I'm sold. One of the things I really like is that a little bit does the trick, so one tube will last you a few months, longer if you don't shave everyday like I do.

It's got a pleasant scent and a dab of menthol, so it'll help get you going in the morning before you've had time to slurp down a cup of coffee. Plus, it doesn't clog your razor like some of the creams will do.

It works well enough if you are on the go and don't have the time to give yourself a good shave. I just don't like the fact for me it left an oily feel on my skin and has a strong smell of its own.

I was skeptical of a three-in-one product, but this one really works. I love to take this when I travel to cut down on the number of products I have to pack.

Works great but too heavily fragranced. I'm just not that into the Jack Black line--too strongly fragranced. I wish they would come out with a fragrance-free or light fragrance line.

Beard Lube is not necessarily the best shaving product overall, there are some creams that I enjoy alongside the beard lube; however, Beard Lube is the best solution for quick and easy shaving. It's a clear gel so you just rub it on and then shave. It takes just a minute or two to shave with Beard Lube. Also, with it being clear, it's easy to see where you're shaving or to style around a beard. It won't leave any irritation and it has moisturizer to keep your face hydrated. Highly recommended.

I got a free sample of this after placing an order for some GL shaving products and I must say it was very nice being able to just put some of this on and get started. I did not need to use a pre-shave oil then shaving cream. I just put this stuff on and got to work and it worked very well. Smooth shave and my face felt great afterwards. I would recommend.

As someone who's tried numerous shaving creams and gels product I could honestly say, this product sticks to your beard and softens it for a clean shave. Leaves skin feeling smooth. I highly recommend this product.

I recently went through a series of tests on new shave gels and creams as my old standby became hard to find.
Background:
I use an electric shaver (A norelco cool touch) and my shaving regime starts with Lab series Electric shave solution.
Then I use a gel while I shave. I used each product I tested starting with 2 days of growth and then an every day shave.
After a shower I finish with Anthony Logistics Ingrown hair treatment.

I liked the texture of this product a great deal and it has a nice smell. It works very well as both a pre and post shave solution making the razor slide easily with no irritation, but it didn't leave me with a very clean shave on my daily shaves. Lots of stubble. That said on the 2 day beard it was great and each day I used it my face felt great.
If I were using a razor instead of an electric or shaving every other day this would be my first choice.
As it was I ultimately chose Art of Shavings Shaving Cream.

I'm a big fan of Jack Black and this does not dissapoint. The beard lube is great for even a day or two old scruff, really does a nice job softening up the face for a shave on the go.

With sensitive skin I normally get razor burn when shaving but this product keeps the redness at bay. Helps razorblades effortlessly glide through the thickest of facial hair and leaves face smooth as can be.

I like the scent and initial feel, but there are better products out there in a similar price range (like GL's house brand) that will have a better shelf-life. Mine kind of got grainy after a few weeks.

Great product, great scent, and combined with GL beard master shave oil and after shave makes for a very comfortable shave experience.

This is a great, and relatively inexpensive, shaving cream. When traveling abroad and not in the mood to pack my entire shave kit, this is what I use.

Got this as a free sample. Blows away the Barbasol I've been using for so many years. First it smell great. Second, it lathers up slicker than diesel fuel on wet pavement....NICE Third, it allows the blade to glide through and provide the closest shave I've had in a long time. I can go 1-2 more days in between shaves if desired based on this stuff. Another good product from the GL to add to the arsenal.

really good pre-shave. leaves your skin really hydrated but it dry's up kind of fast.. i would still recommend this product.

Your face will feel amazing and you canactually see what your shaving because a very light coverage goes a long way.

It works well. Leaves your skin smooth and moisurized after you shave. It works even better if you cocktail it with a regular shave cream.

Great product, very easy to use... After using it a few times, I noticed my face was becoming very dry.
