Skin Food works great as a pre shave lubricant and works wonders as a soothing post shave lotion Fantastic West Indian Lime scent that lasts but does not overpower. It’s the perfect complement to the Trumper Lime shaving cream or the Truefitt & Hill West Indian Lime shaving cream…It actually makes you look forward to shaving. It’s a bit pricy bit it lasts a really, REALLY long time!

Price Value Quality An excellent pre & post shave product. It really tightens up my pores and has excellent soothing abilities especially if you use straight-edge type razors. Whilst it has good moisturizing properties I usually feel the need to add another moisturizer on top of that about 15 - 20 minutes after my shave. Similarly the scent only lasts about that long. Only downside to skin food is its lack of anti-bacterial properties, so throw in an alum bar right after your shave. Although expensive it will last you quite some time as you only need about 3 - 4 drops to thoroughly apply to the face. Overall a quality product for shaving enthusiasts.
