    Just got this about a week ago, and have loved shaving since. Since starting to shave in high school (now 27) I always used the 3-4-5 blade razors...while my father and grandfather always swore by the safety razor or straight razors. I feel stupid for not listening, and converting sooner! Indeed the best shave I have had. The weight is perfect and does allow you to shave with less pressure. This razor does have a shorter handle if you can not tell by the picture, but none the less a perfect razor. I will use this one to travel, as the smaller handle makes it easier to pack and save room, and I am going to buy the Merkur Long Handled 38C for my home use. You will not be disappointed!

    The greatest razor I've ever used. I've been using Gillette razors forever and no matter how many razors they can combine, it does not match the closeness of a single safety blade. It is completely obvious how close the shave is after one day. Your 5-o-clock shadow shows up a day late. i highly recommend this blade. Definitely worth the price if you hate shaving.

    This is my first DE razor, and so far I'm pretty happy with it. It takes some adjusting and practice to get a good shave, but it's worth the patience. The hardest thing for me to adjust to was the lack of a pivoting blade, but that lasted maybe 4 shaves. It cleans really easily as well. I won't go back to a multi blade razor again. Well made, but stubbier than I thought it would be. It's not a problem if you have thin, spiderly fingers like me, but guys with banana hands might get frustrated. Overall: recommend this to everyone, especially if you want your lady (or friends) to think you're a badass.

    What a lovely shaving tool purchase this items with Merkur Super Platinum Stainless Double-Edged Blades. Watch out around the throat and don't wipe the blade rise with water shake it to dry.
