I started using this shampoo last year and it is awesome! My hair is not dry anymore and I wash it every time I shower. I also like that it doesn't have a strong scent. I am hooked!

Very hip dad here....the product is great for creating body in my hair, and maintaining my mane.....my teenage boys use the product too....We always get compliments on our hair....Thanks for a great product....

I've been using this shampoo for years. I'm in my mid fifties and still have a full head of hair and am the envy of former high school classmates. I attribute my great head of hair to this shampoo and other GL hair care products. This just about the only and by far the best shampoo that I have ever used.

It smells great and works very well. I also got the "You Need Conditioner" stuff which I like a lot as well. It's a little pricey, but who cares?

Stop wasting time and money and buy this and don't look back. It's the only right choice.

To put it bluntly, even my fiancee, who has terrific hair already and a very specific regimen, threw that all out the window to use Grooming Lounge's The Best Shampoo. I'm in my late 20s with a pretty thick head of hair (knocks on wood!), and the combination of this shampoo with the GL Conditioner is all you need. I use a mix of Hair Cream and Goop, and one rinse with this shampoo gets out the gunk. Try it! And do yourself a favor and buy 4 of their products at once to get that discount!

I use this product daily and I have been extremely happy with the quality. While the price seems high at first, the product last a very long time as not much is needed to lather. I highly recommend it.

as far as im concerned this really is the best shampoo

I generally try to stay away from sulfate shampoo but I had to try this. My hair is very dry but I still use this once or twice a week to really deep cleanse and it does a phenomenal job of cleaning without over drying my hair. Nice minty feel.

The best everyday shampoo that I have ever used. Gently cleans without stripping and doesn't leave hair or scalp dry, and most certainly helps to thicken hair as advertised. I've noticed results.

Clean and crisp sums this product up pretty well, not to mention an excellent price point for a shampoo of this quality. It stacks up superior to other high-end brands by virtue of it's packaging, scent, lather and the clean feeling it leaves behind.

The price of this shampoo isnt the greatest, but Ive seen shampoos far more expensive. Overall this shampoo is the best, left my hair feeling very clean, smells great. Ill stick with this shampoo as long as I have hair on my head.

Love the smell of this shampoo. It is really nice to use in the morning and kind of perks you up before you have to go to work for the day. Leaves a nice tingle on the scalp.

but it is worth it. Great mint smell and tingle, cleans hair well and last throughout the day (hair doesn't get greasy). It is mild too, so it can use it multiple times in the same day if needed and it won't destroy your hair.

To be honest, this is the best shampoo I have ever used. You will especially notice a few weeks after switching over from your old shampoo. Hair thickness was especially noticeable to me. The smell is nice but not overpowering and a little bit goes a long way.

Lived in the DC area and frequented the Tyson's store...then moved to California and have the product shipped. Its an eye opener in the morning and the right wind down in the evening. Do yourself a favor and get this and the conditioner...worth every penny.

This stuff smells great, cleans very well, and seems to never run out. A little truly goes a long way with this one. Idk how long I've had my current bottle but it's been a while and it's still going.

This is really great shampoo. I was hesitant to order it because of the price, but am happy I did. Smells great. Don't need to use very much. Leaves hair very soft.

Awesome shampoo. Smells great. Peppermint tingle wakes up your scalp (and any other body region you're inclined to lather up) if left on for more than a few seconds. Despite all this greatness, I think it's kind of ridiculously overpriced.

Great shampoo. Not overly soapy/foamy. Works good on oily scalp. Leaves the bathroom smelling like a man! Great scent and features, but falls short of salon/boutique glory. Having said that, the price is a little out of hand. Not the best shampoo I've tried. I personally still like the American crew stuff better. I would pay 14-15 dollars for this, not 20.

Being an African American Man, I wanted a shampoo that not only smells great but works well too, This shampoo does both. I can't say enough great things about this product, simply a god send.

I have thick oily hair and use a heavy gel, this shampoo tames the thickness, cleans without drying and removes all product residue. I like the scent and a little goes a very long way. It really is the best shampoo I have ever used.

I love this stuff. I thought it was too much to pay for a shampoo, but then realized it's more than 11 oz., which lasts me about a month. Worth it. The smell is great, tingles just the right amount and foams up enough to make a schlub like me think it's working well. Only change I would suggest is to make a travel size.

I used Matrix for Men for a number of years but they quit making it, so I've been searching for a replacement. Now I've found it, and it is even better. Great shampoo, great results. I use it with the GL conditioner (separate review). I think the price might be a bit high, but when I see what my wife pays for her hair-care products, I guess I can't complain.

Let's not get carried away. This cleans my hair well (as do 1,000 other shampoos) and leaves my hair soft and my scalp feeling fresh. Honestly, the fresh smell alone probably sells me on this.

I have to admit, I was a bit sceptical about the difference a shampoo could make, but I'm here to tell you it does. This shampoo left my scalp feeling more refreshed and my hair more manageable than I can ever remember. A small amount is enough to remove even the most stubborn of products. GREAT job GL...keep it up.

In response to AJ from Jacksonville, I'm Asian. With typical thick, straight Asian hair. And it works! I regularly have 2-3 types of product in my hair, including styling wax, mud and gel. It cleans the product out very effectively, and works a good balance between being tough on product and washing out very easily. Bottom Line: Works for all hair types. Nuff said.

I was a bit leary of dropping this kind of money on shampoo. UNTIL I used it for the first time! I instantly knew it was worth it. I have to use this every morning to feel like my morning regimen is complete. The best shampoo indeed! Pure Excellence!

A true "for all hair types" shampoo... I'm an African-American male who can honestly say a product that works for black males as well. This outstanding product left my hair feeling fresh, soft, and renewed. It actually left a great balance of moisture and texture; NOT heavy, oily, or overly scented. However, I prefer a more masculine scent; the scent was more like a Chocolate Mint rather than Peppermint - making it a 4 star product in my book... Overall, This product should be renamed, " Grooming Lounge - Simply The Best Shampoo...PERIOD". With Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" in the background.

i have curly hair and alot of it. And when I've tried other shampoos once i work it in, it takes like forever to wash out. thats what i like about this grooming lounge shampoo- it doesnt leave a residue like other shampoos, and feels really cool on my scalp. My girlfriend even started using it! Its only 20 bux too which is a nice change of pace.

Until recently I had no preferences when it came to shampoos. I thought aside from labeling all shampoos were pretty much the same. This one has changed all that and now I am a staunch advocate of this product. You can actually feel how amazing it feels and how well it works your hair and scalp. Couldn't beleive it! I like it. Hard to really say one shampoo is better than another, but I enjoyed the way it tingles my scalp. Hair seemed as full as it's gonna' get also.
