Particularly effective for thinning hair, shampoo’s cool, minty effects can be felt almost immediately. Relying on Cocamide MEA, a water-soluble cleaning agent derived from fruit, shampoo’s ion-filled complex will act like a magnet for dirt, grime and excess oil—clearing the way for DHT-blocking compounds to work their magic. Peppermint Oil then provides both the cooling sensation and essential protection against DHT formation and build-up, while also giving this gel its refreshing, enlivening scent. Post-shower, hair feels clean and thoroughly conditioned. Five or six uses per week are all that’s needed for a noticeable reduction in shedding and an uptick in hair growth. Heck, even Fuzzy Wuzzy (was a bear) could’ve held onto his mane a bit longer with this advanced stuff.

Size: 8 oz. or 2 oz. travel size
Scent: Peppermint
Key Ingredients: Peppermint Oil, Cocamide MEA & Panthenol
To Use: Apply to wet hair and massage mixture into a rich lather. Rinse well. Repeat if needed and follow with conditioner of choice.

I want to like Billy Jealousy. They have a cool brand, they make stuff I want, but it's a little pricey for what honestly feels like some gimmicky old spice quality stuff. This shampoo smells great, like a chocolate minty smell. I feel like it gets my scalp pretty clean, too. It really dries my hair out, though, and after two weeks, I don't feel like I have any less shedding or hair falling out in the shower. I also notice that 2 of the first 3 ingredients are Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which I'm pretty sure guys that need this shampoo should steer well clear of.
