Price Value Quality When I read all of the ingredients in Baxter's Hydro Salve, I thought I had found the ultimate lip moisturizer. In most, you get aloe vera, shea butter, and that's about it... this stuff has everything. But when I received it and put it on, I was slightly disappointed. First, this stuff shines, a lot. You have to rub your lips together for minutes until it dissipates. And secondly, its only mildly moisturizing, and needs re-application within minutes. Maybe my lips just need to get used to it, but for now, I'm a bit disappointed; I'll use this before sleep, but that's about it.

Price Value Quality I've had dry, cracked lips for as long as I can remember, and standard lip balms and chapstick have never done anything for me. I'd have smooth lips for a day or two, but then be even drier than before no matter how much I applied. Thus I didn't have much hope for this product, but decided an $8. lip balm HAD to do something good. Well, all I can say is wow! It immediately helped my lips' color and texture. But more importantly, after two weeks of steady use I've noticed my lips are actually retaining their moisture from day to day...for the first time ever. And no more flaking! I'm very satisfied.
